Join Us for Sister Cities Day 2017!

28 Jun

Minneapolis and Tours Sister Cities invite you to join us for the tenth annual Sister Cities Celebration, an event highlighting our city’s global connections, Sunday, July 16 from 1-5 p.m. at the Nicollet Island Pavilion in Minneapolis. This free family friendly afternoon includes refreshments, live entertainment and the opportunity to learn more about our city’s twelve sister cities. (And yes, it is air conditioned!)

This year’s event will feature a 3 p.m. performance by singer/songwriter Robert Everest, who recently performed at the Foire de Tours. Attendees will also be able to learn about the recent success of showcasing Minnesota in our sister city’s regional exhibition and hear more about the year of America in Tours, which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the American arrival in France during World War I.

Want to help us spread the word? Download this flyer with all of our event information.

You can also visit the official website of Meet Minneapolis to learn more. Hope to see you there!
